Version Changes in Ver 3.5B
Each version change will have changes in the software or firmware. This document will explain the changes from Hyperspace Ver 3.5 to Hyperspace Ver 3.5B. Version 3.5A was a test version for Proxima.
Throttle Protection
This is a product under development and in Version 3.5B we improved throttle power protection. This will limit the duty cycle power applied on the throttle motor during calibration and testing. It is a universal program and must be set for each type of throttle. See Step 1 Pedal & Throttle Test.
Tuning settings
After Mercury2 firmware was developed after Proxima and the settings differed. Proxima used the auxiliary registers which is changed to be the same as Mercury2 to simplify manuals.
Clone Feature
The standard Hyperspace clone feature is also added to copy tuning maps and calibrations without the need for a programmer. See the ECU manual for more description on this. If you upgrade it may be locked where you then have to load your map again. So make a copy before upgrading.
Dual Maps
These units can now handle dual maps for different operations. See the ECU manuals for more description on this. Proxima is the same as Pluto2.
Temperature Compensation
Proxima can now also do cold start compensation. You will need Standard Class for this feature.
